Shiny SunShine space pouch
Some of the fun things and challenges we get ask to do at Shiny SunShine.
Last year autumn 2017 we had the chance to participate at the request of Stuttgart University KSAT E.V. to design and manufacture a special pouch for the NASA PAPELL Project (Pump Application using Pulsed Electromagnets for Liquid reLocation).
On June 21, 2018, the experiment was launch to the International Space Station. Via a Space X rocket.
The space launch PAPELL's Journey to Orbit.
The pouches were design to hold a Ferro liquid to be used in an electromagnet pulse liquid relocation experiment.
Pump Application using Pulsed Electromagnets for Liquid reLocation (PAPELL) examines the behaviour of special magnetic fluid transport systems to determine how these systems perform in space. Please read more details here from NASA.
